CA (Coordinated Access) is a process, not a program. A CA system is one by which individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness are directed to access points within the community. At these access points, trained workers will use a common approach (including common intake forms and common assessment tools) to assess the depth of need and help them complete the process that will prioritize them for housing
support services. Clients will be matched to housing focused interventions in the community.
